Inside sales engineer

As a Business Manager, your role is to strengthen and expand the customer portfolio in the maritime/yachting sector, with a special focus on refit projects. Thanks to your in-depth (technical) knowledge, you identify opportunities and turn them into desired solutions and concrete orders.

You will translate customer requirements into technical solutions and ensure a smooth transition from quotation to project execution. Your role is diverse, ranging from customer contact to project handover to the production team, and everything in between. Zenoro develops, builds, and tests generators specifically for the demanding and dynamic market segment of luxury yachts. These generators provide power on board superyachts. In this segment, Zenoro is well on its way to becoming the market leader, with a strong focus on quality, customization, and innovation. Therefore, we are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Translating customer requirements into quotations or project proposals, in collaboration with engineering when needed.
  • Preparing and monitoring accurate cost price calculations and ensuring their validity within the timeframe of outstanding quotations.
  • Following up on quotations and ensuring a complete project handover from Sales to Operations (project management, engineering, and procurement).
  • Configuring variable and fixed-speed generators, considering emission regulations and technical guidelines for combustion engines and generators.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers, including requesting pricing and aligning technical possibilities.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales and quotation process.

What We Expect from You:
We are looking for an ambitious colleague who fits well within our team in terms of personality and technical knowledge.

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (WTB) or automotive engineering, with a commercial mindset.
  • Knowledge of emission regulations.
  • Affinity with combustion engines and the maritime sector.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a passion for technical innovation and personal growth.
  • Ability to quickly learn an ERP system and solid MS Office skills.
